FERROGLOBE, WITH 23 PRODUCTION CENTERS WORKING IN THE ELECTROMETALLURGY SECTOR IN FOUR CONTINENTS AND 62 FURNACES.

Using a total installed power of near 1,500 MW, is a global leader in the production of silicon metal, accounting for 14% of the global production capacity.

Besides, it is the leading producer of ferroalloys in the European Union, with a capacity that exceeds 1 million tons per year. In the United States it is one of the largest and most efficient producers of high-purity ferrosilicon and specialty steel ingredients. The facilities located in China deliver carbon electrodes for use in submerged arc metallurgical furnaces.

And Ferroglobe also boasts great technological capacity that permits production of photovoltaic-grade silicon metal, being competitive in one of the sectors with greatest growth potential in the next years.
